Getting to Calella de Palafrugell — Calella de Palafrugell is a beautiful little coastal town north of Barcelona. The easiest way to get there is to fly into Barcelona-El Prat Airport and rent a car for the 1.5-hour drive. It’s a pretty scenic route, and having a car will make exploring the area easier!

Where to Stay — Since it’s a holiday weekend, hotels and rentals are likely to fill up fast. We definitely recommend booking a place in town—it’s small, super walkable, and you’ll be right in the heart of everything. Celebrate San Juan — If you can, try to stick around for San Juan! It’s one of the biggest celebrations in Catalonia, marking the start of summer with bonfires, music, and fireworks. The party kicks off on Monday, June 23rd, and the whole town comes alive. It’s such a fun experience, and we'd love for you to be part of it!
